Perth is the capital city for Western Australia. It is the entry point for most tourists visiting the state and has both an international and domestic airport with regular flights to overseas destinations and with in Australia. It is located on the banks of the Swan River in the south west corner of the state. Kings Park is also a great place to visit and provides panoramic views over the Swan River and the city itself. Another popular attraction in Perth is a cruise on the river and these take you past some interesting places like millionaires row where the rich and famous have built striking mansions along the river front.
